John most recent­ly co-found­ed a US-based pri­vate­ly-held hold­ing com­pa­ny that has invest­ed in and advised numer­ous busi­ness­es in the blockchain, bank­ing, media, trans­porta­tion, gam­ing, cap­i­tal mar­kets, real estate and tech­nol­o­gy sec­tors in the US, Europe and the Mid­dle East. John earned both his Bach­e­lors (with Honors)and Juris Doc­tor (Law) degrees from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Pennsylvania.

Galen has 25 plus years of expe­ri­ence across Deriv­a­tives Trad­ing and Mul­ti-Asset class Port­fo­lio Man­age­ment, in Invest­ment Bank­ing and Asset Managers/Family Offices. Since 2011 he has been man­ag­ing Ultra High Net worth clients through var­i­ous plat­forms, estab­lish­ing Ven­ture Cap­i­tal and Pri­vate Equi­ty struc­tures for clients to diver­si­fy away from more tra­di­tion­al asset class­es. For the past 8 years he has been an active Angel Investor in pre-seed start-ups in Sin­ga­pore and Ire­land and since 2017 has been active in the emerg­ing world of cryp­to exchanges, blockchain tech­nol­o­gy, and asset tokenization.

Chris­t­ian has over 15 years of expe­ri­ence in finance, includ­ing lead­er­ship roles in bank­ing and pri­vate equi­ty. He is a co-founder and board mem­ber of the Dig­i­tal Asset Asso­ci­a­tion Aus­tria (DAAA) and has launched sev­er­al com­pa­nies in the dig­i­tal asset space, such as DAIC and SMAPE Cap­i­tal. As CEO of Block­trade for 2.5 years, he led the com­pa­ny through sig­nif­i­cant growth. With more than 9 years in the dig­i­tal asset indus­try, Chris­t­ian con­tin­ues to dri­ve inno­va­tion and devel­op­ment in the sector.

Prof. Dr. Jörg Schröder is pro­fes­sor for Cor­po­rate Finance in the Strat­e­gy, Finance & Inno­va­tion depart­ment of the Inter­na­tion­al School of Man­age­ment (ISM) in Dort­mund. Along­side this role, he is part­ner of SSC Con­sult Cor­po­rate Finance in Cologne where he advis­es small and medi­um-sized com­pa­nies on Cor­po­rate Finance. Prof. Schröder worked in Invest­ment Bank­ing in nation­al and inter­na­tion­al banks for more than 20 years. He stud­ied eco­nom­ics at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mün­ster where he also suc­cess­ful­ly com­plet­ed his doc­tor­ate. His fields of research are Cap­i­tal Mar­kets, Merg­ers & Acqui­si­tions, Cor­po­rate Finance and Ven­ture Cap­i­tal, Dis­rup­tive dig­i­tal tech­nolo­gies in finance and Sus­tain­able Finance.

As a senior HR pro­fes­sion­al, man­ag­ing direc­tor, and as a con­sul­tant, Chris­t­ian has broad expe­ri­ence from star­tups to a glob­al enter­prise (Groupon). He man­aged com­plex inter­na­tion­al teams in high growth envi­ron­ment, oper­at­ing in 30+ coun­tries. He lived and worked in Berlin, Zurich, Syd­ney, Mal­ta, and Vien­na.
